I just went through my iTunes and Beyonce had a cover of "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" and I'm not going to say it was an uplifting song, but it was very spiritual. It was kinda fulfilling for me to hear something like that re-done and using such upbeat rhythm. It was really well done, good to see the spirit of early african american history coming up to life in pop culture.

I have litereally $400 to my name and about $100 worth of bills due in the next two weeks, not to mention $286.25 due for rent in about three weeks.
I feel like I burnt myself out this weekend from all the partying - not doing that for a while.
I slept through British Literature - AGAIN
I feel like I'm being avalanched with everything and I have an uneasy feeling about my grades at school, even though it's been 4 weeks into the semester. I still have 2/3 to go, time to make it count.
I'm becoming a hermit for the next few weeks until at least spring Break. I need to do well in school

Regardless, my point is for all intents and purposes (haha I almost wrote porpuses) it's Monday February 13th, which means that good old V-Day is tomorrow. Most people are excited, but not me; and especially this year for good reasons. There were two potential girls that I would have loved to be in relationships with in time for this commerical holiday but things just didn't pan out that way. (by the way "Pan" is French and Spanish for bread... just throwing it out there). Anyways the event is also Tara's birthday, I might get her something, and I might not. I mean its a double edged sword. I don't have to go out and spend money on a fucking lame ass commercial holiday just so that candy and card companies can get a hefty profit off of something that have no relevance to society.
Its all in the air right now depending on how much money I have to spend on Thursday... If there is even going to be a party on Thursday. Especially If I have to throw in all the money for the alcohol again. I love my fav's and all but I can't afford to get them smashed for free every week. Maybe we'll just smoke or something, be a lot more fun plus we'll all feel fucking great when we wake up in the morning. Throw them towel's under the door, and puff, puff, pass. Finally slept in a dorm for the first time at any college ever. Even at UConn I slept in fucking Hilltop Suite apartments because I'm a spoiled bastard. Squishy yet comfortable as hell beds that are very much squeaky as well. Man did it look akwards seeing all those girls this morning as I left to go home to take a shower... Vince Young is a grown man!
I mean seriously, coming from a football player, who has seen some good players at the level that I played at (high school) and obviously college football and high school football have no comparison but to put up almost 300 yards passing and 200 yards rushing by yourself in a game not once but TWICE in two years in the same stadium is just ludacris. Vince Young owns the Rose Bowl plain and simple. He's gonna be one hell of a QB in the NFL and right now is definetly a better athlete than Michael Vick. Look for the number 10 to be the new 7 in a year or two.
Anyways I changed my layout again. Found a nice high-res screen shot for the avatar, and another high quality artwork scan to base the layout off of. I'm really diggin this 'simple square' base theme. Not lookin to get real fancy but the picture is neat. Tried to match the colors pretty good. Not too bad for 3:30 in the morning.

So basically I decided that I'm going to work in Newington again when I go back the Central after vacation. Also if you've not seen that little sidebar that's now on my journal its a way to tell all of you that Kevin and I are starting a story which quite possibly will turn into novel form. Who knows, but it's on the horizon. More to come on that later. Also my 2002 fanfic is coming again soon with the final few chapters and a revision of the first four. Look for it on my "art livejournal" which I completely ripped off of Sami as an idea. The link is in the sidebar to it. All of the poetry I've written is there. Plus I've added the original versions of chapters 1-4 of "The Destruction of Magic" comments on anything and everything are welcome. I've been down for about 5 days now and I honestly miss New Britain, more than I have before. The lack of freedom I have around here and the constant nagging from my mother is starting to really piss me off and I want to go back as soon as possible. Spent all day home bored as all hell... I'm sick of snow, sick of Trumbull, sick of high school, and just plain sick in general.
The second we get into Kevin's house tonight things got all screwed up in a hurry, not to mention we got some nice one-liners from the G.
June 8-9 and 13-14 are in-class final exams for seniors, and then if I have any teachers who don't give in-class exams I have to go in either June 15,16, or 17.
Basically I'm quitting drinking for a while... at least until the graduation shin-dig that we're gonna have.
I leave in 35 days for Essex Place and I still have so much I need done, like draw up the paper work for my transfer to the Newington Stop and Shop*
Summer for me is basically over so instead of being creative I'm copy/pasting Kt's profile about the summer and taking out what I wasn't involved in
It's been a week at college and I'm feelin a little anxious to get to this weekend.
I'm not sure if I should still write in this anymore, I feel like the past few nights or so I've been doing it, it almost feels like a chore...
So basically I had to powerwash the sidewalks so I called my best friend ever Dean Smith from produce department... He was like, 'OMG wow a powerwasher!"
I woke up this morning and it was snowing.

This is the one thing I hate about MySpace. The 'Cool New People' section. Who decides that these three people are cool? And what makes them so goddamn new? I don't think they're infants. They've been around for a while.
Just cause Betty has a blue shirt on, or Luanne is standing on a balcony, or Muneca Fea has a stupid name with an exciting hair color doesn't mean I want to look at them when I log-in. The only cool people on MySpace are my friends, because they are better than yours.

I'm done waiting for things that I think are going to happen when in reality they most likely never will. Fuck that, I'm gonna change. I didn't come to college to sit around and wait for something good to fall into my lap. (I mean that literally and metaphorically ;o) )
Fate can go fuck off I'm takin control now. We're gonna have a party, lots of food, fun, and alcohol, lots of friends, and lots of people I've recently met. I'm lettin' go. Trumbull you've been good to me and I miss you but I need to fuckin clean out this emo vagina I seem to be having and start living, not just for the few people up here that I care about but for myself.
Everything for the car is all set, now all I need is the paperwork from my parents and a ride to Manchester to drive it away. Sure the only looks I'm gonna get in it are, "what the fuck is he driving?" but its better than, "hey whos that kid walking, lets beep at him and laugh"
With that said I don't care who you are, or why the fuck people like/dislike you. If I think you're a cool person fuck it; lets hang out!
